About Lightsngear

Hi, my name is Ben, and I’m a flashaholic!

I don’t usually admit that in public, (since people might get the wrong idea) but that it usually receives a few strangely inquisitive responses.

I consider myself a pretty average person. I conceived this website from the desire to share my interest (and knowledge) in flashlights and related accessories. They’re highly useful tools that can find their way into a variety of everyday situations. Their usefulness to those who enjoy being outdoors cannot be dismissed, which is where the ‘gear’ in Lightsngear was born. I try to keep things as simple as possible, by delivering information in a clear and concise way, without being technical. I hope it’s both interesting and informative.

I’m the only member of my family who carries a flashlight everyday. Just because….you never know. I believe every man, woman, and child needs at least 1 really cool flashlight. Even if any others you might own are the plastic $4 variety, or even a classic Maglite, you’ve not experienced what one of today’s technically advanced flashlights can really do unless you ‘go for the gold’!

Consider this; why be afraid of the dark, when it’s easy to make the dark, afraid of YOU!

  1. You have done a great job on your site. It is crisp, clean and concise. You make me want to buy something…actually, I’ve always wanted a head mounted light, kind of like the miners use, but headband form. great job.

    • Thank you very much. Your comment is worth a million bucks! And yes, head mounted lights are most certainly available from Lightsngear.
